The fifth lever »LongUse« describes the importance of a lifelong energy assessment of air treatment systems.
After all, most older systems have been modified from their original state. In addition, ongoing operation results in a continuous decrease in energy efficiency. Our experience has shown that the energy efficiency of almost every air treatment system can be improved. Even small measures can often result in significant savings.
The operator of a bag filter system commissioned Kappa to perform maintenance and carry out an inspection because the system performance was too low. We were able to determine that the filter bags were worn out.
In addition, we were able to demonstrate to the customer that the energy efficiency of the bag filter system could be significantly increased with our newly developed Kappa Waveline® filter bag.
KappaQ-Energy is the energy saving concept for minimizing the energy costs of ventilation systems.
It illustrates which factors influence the energy requirements of ventilation and air conditioning systems and which levers make it possible to massively reduce energy use permanently and sustainably.
